December Sermon Series:
One day several years ago I was visiting in the home of one of my church members. He was in his late 80’s I asked him, “Where were you born?” He lifted his hand and pointed to the room next to us. He was home. I, on the other hand, was born in Georgia and have lived in about 18 different communities up to this point. What does being home mean for you?
Our worship theme for this Advent will be “Come Home for Christmas.” It is based on a book by the same title. It is an invitation to come home to love, hope, mercy and to the birth place of Jesus, Bethlehem. Please find our weekly foundational scriptures and themes below to help you prepare for worship. This would be a great time to invite someone to join you in worship.
